Living Simply Together – Macmillan Coffee Morning

Our School Council were wonderful hosts at our Macmillan Coffee Morning, where we welcomed residents and staff from Seccombe Court Care Home and Green Pastures Care Home, along with members of our school and wider community. It was such a joy to come together to share conversation, laughter, and cake all while supporting a truly worthy cause.

This special event reflected the Catholic Social Teaching principles of the Option for the Poor and Vulnerable and the Dignity of the Human Person. By spending time with care home residents and showing kindness and respect to everyone, our pupils lived out the call to see the face of Christ in every person and to treat all with love.

Through moments like these, we continue to strengthen our links with local care homes and grow as a community that seeks to live simply with one another, sharing friendship, compassion, and joy.
