Reception class is taught by Mrs Trivett with Miss Houlihan, Miss Copp and Miss Grace and Miss Vaughan also working alongside all the children in Early Years.

All the children will need some indoor shoes, a Bookbag clearly labelled with their name and a clear waterbottle (water only please) This term our PE day will be on Thursday. The children will be learning to get changed in class and will need to have their (clearly labelled) PE kit in school please. PE kits can be stored in school in a drawstring bag.

· Your child will be bringing home a picture book to share with you every day. Please enjoy this time reading to them, these books can be changed daily.

· Once your child has a reading record there will be some sounds and skills to work on together. Please do write in the record when you work on this at home.

· When your child starts to bring home a reading book as well please support them in reading this to you every night and record this in their reading record. The more repetition the better!

· Children should have their reading books and reading records in school every day. Reading books will be changed twice a week if they have been read twice at home.
