✝️Love one another as I have loved you ✝️
Thank you to Jimmy, Aibel and Leo who delivered a beautiful class collective worship for us last week. Around the theme of love, they carefully chose scripture, prayers and hymns to share with the class.

During Year 4 art lessons, they have started the HUGE project of starting their very own weaving! We have already learnt about the process of warping and wefting 🧵🪡 and today we began on our own mini looms! It is taking a lot of patience and perseverance for us to be succcessful.... here is the start! We can't wait to showcase our journey with you 🙂
Year 6 have had a fantastic time at the PFMAC concert this week! Since the beginning of Year 6, we have been practicing our 90s anthems and it was so lovely to share our hard work with our friends and family.
Today we’ve had the most amazing day! We started off with a fantastic workshop from the Oxford Opera Company, where we learned all about The Magic Flute by Mozart and the story of Tamino.
WOW! Year 2 have had an AWESOME morning creating Pop Art Portraits!
Cally from Cotswolds Arts Through Schools joined us in our classroom this morning. She talked to us about what Pop Art is, what self-portraits are and taught us the steps in creating our own pop art portrait! It was very technical!
We are SO proud of the portraits we have created! 💥🎨
Year 2 shared their fantastic Harvest portraits with the rest of the school during our Assembly yesterday morning! We also had lots of fun hearing songs and poems from different classes and reflected on Harvest Time through prayers written by Year 6 🥰
Early Years spent a very joyous afternoon in the woods looking at all the glorious trees that God had created. We spent a moment listening to the wind in the leaves and thanked Him for giving us such a beautiful world. One of our Live Simply pledges is to get to know our woods- our tree of the day was holly..we will return to the woods and learn the name of the tallest tree in our wood....any guesses as to what that might be?
We are delighted to share that our coffee morning in support of Macmillian Cancer Support raised £167 so far! 🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us including residents and staff from Seccombe Court Care Home and Green Pastures Care Home, along with members of our school and wider community. It was such a joy to come together. 💛
Special thanks to our School Council, who organised and ran the event so brilliantly we are very proud of them! 🌟
As our fantastic Year 6s have been such fabulous role models, they have been given the opportunity to buddy up with some of our youngest children to support them throughout the year. This week, we met our buddies for the first time and we are looking forward to taking them to visit the library later on this week!
This week in class worship, we reflected on the Good News and the importance of sharing our faith. The children wrote prayers and responses to share with everyone.
A huge thank you to Catherine, Flo, Marie-Bernadette and Tommy who led us beautifully in our Class Collective Worship this afternoon 🕯️.
We gathered together to listen to Parable of 'The Lost Sheep'. The children asked some thoughtful questions and the class responded so beautifully. We understood that God is like the shepherd guiding us (his sheep) on the right paths. The children responded to our liturgy by writing about how we know that God loves us 💞.
We look forward to more groups leading us in prayer each week and we are excited to welcome our prayer bear back tomorrow 🥰
The new tuk tuk is bringing out wonderful teamwork from both Reception and Nursery!
