MUSIC

Music is really important to us all at St. John's and we are given lots of opportunities to be involved in music throughout the school, from the recorder group in Year 1 right through to the choir in Years 5 and 6. We sing in assembly, at mass and during hymn practice.

We have visiting teachers from Oxfordshire County Music School who come and teach a range of instruments including violin, cello, flute, piano and guitar. In fact you can learn pretty much any instrument you want.

In July we had a musical evening which this year raised money for the new building fund.
