Internet Safety

Children at our school use the internet on a regular basis as part of their learning. In school, we have regular online safety activities to remind children of the importance of keeping themselves safe online.

Our children are very tech-savvy and it is important that you as parents understand how to keep your children safe online.

Below are a few links and some very useful information regarding online safety for parents, carers and children:

  • Think U Know – containing internet safety advice for those aged from 5 to 16, along with parents and teachers, this site is produced by CEOP (the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre).
  • Internet Safety Zone – Look in the ‘Under 13s’ section for useful safety advice and information.
  • Kidsmart – An award-winning internet safety programme for children.

  • O2 Keep kids safe online - The Internet is full of exciting things. Apps and technology are changing quickly, and it can be hard for parents to keep up. But it’s important they do. Because for kids, online life is real life. And just like real life, it comes with risks. Our resources are designed to help parents have more regular conversations with their children about online safety – enabling more families to enjoy the digital world with confidence.
